An interactive installation
After spending 80 hours painting a very precise copy of Ingre's Odalisque, I encouraged participants to give the nameless female model for this famous painting back her agency. Participants were encouraged to squeeze sculptural latex breasts; when they did so, white paint slowly streamed through the front of the painting. The whole piece was only in existence for one evening, after which it was dismantled and destroyed.
